Default Alright I'm ready to take my licks....

Hey guys I'm a 25 year old dude looking for a site that's more on my level. I come to you from the land of wine and cheese aka m.net. Granted it's an informative website about maintaining and trying to decide which lumbar support works best. CR.net is not even on my radar that place just screams chinese takeout.... not my style. Now i'm all caught up on pm'ing things it's time to add some go fast goodies! I have been a good little search ***** and have gone through a ton of info. I've come to a few conclusions sick humor and **** are encouraged, cats and turbos ftw, and do a megasquirt and a wideband o2 before introducing FI to the car. To throw in a few personal details I have been working on cars since I was a kid. I've had the joy to wrench on a few good cars (67 mustang gt 390 and a 68 shelby gt-500kr) this is my first time around with a smaller displacement, and with toying of using FI. I work with boilers, compressors and steam turbines, and love mechanics in general.

my car has a few good mods and some others im not to sure if they are **** or not.
good ****.... illuminas,H&R springs, stainless brake lines, ceramic pads,e-codes,mazda speed d steering wheel (most likely knock off)
iffy ****... 17's that feel like bricks.....no name stainless header and full exhaust, mazda speed CAI,cross drilled rotors, lightweight flywheel and performance clutch (no idea about any details, but I have a decel buzz and have to have the revs to at least 1k otherwise i will stall. If i turn on lights,a/c,turn my wheel my revs drop) Is there anyway I can figure what setup I have without dropping the trans?

Anyways I'm babbling like a bitch and I'm sure you're sleeping right now so i'll leave you with this

..... problem bro?

Phil -

Welcome aboard.

But you did miss one bit in your research/evaluation of MT.net; put your location in your info before Sam has to yank a knot in your a$$...

If there's a way to tell what clutch/flywheel you have without physically looking at it, I don't know it. I guess if your left calf muscle is huge you know it's an ACT extreme pressure plate, and if it drives like **** it's a 4 puck.

I've never owned or jacked with a stock miata but I wouldn't think it's a clutch or flywheel that is causing you to stall. I have a light flywheel and I idle smoothly at 850rpm. And your IAC valve should pop the idle up when you turn on the AC. Bad IAC valve maybe?
