Another n00b from California

Hello people!

Im Yann, 21 from Belgium but living in Cupertino California. About 15 month ago I bought my second car, a 2001 NB with about 83k miles on it. Since then, Ive put about 12k miles and I've loved every second of owning the car. Ultimately, I want to be able to track/autocross the car whilst using it as a daily driver.

I have a couple of mods on the car:
-Racing Beat dual outlet muffler
-Racing Beat sway bar
-Tokico Illumina shocks with Racing Beat springs
-Flying Miata frame rail bracing
-Tan to black interior sway (tan interior on a silver car? :td:)

I look forward to learning from the more experienced members!

I am always interested when I see miata's on the road, if they know what's up.

Welcome!

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome aboard! Nice to hear you're enjoying your '01. Sounds like a great car, some tasteful mods.

Any plans on what your next upgrade will be?

Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of guy on the forum running the tracks in California. I'm sure you can get some help if you need it.

My first priority is making the car comfortable as a daily, and then ill worry about heading to the track. It totally has nothing to do with fact that Im too broke for the track nuhuh...

Ignition Settings -> Knock control settings. Make sure "Monitor per cylinder" is "On".

Also monitor the channel "Knock In".
