NOOB alert :) turbo eventually
Hey guys, new to the turbo forums. This place is great, plenty of info to keep me busy
I've had my 94 miata since last august. Love driving it, even in this PNW rain. Recently got me a set of black 6ul's but still waiting on the hankook rs3's from tirerack (out of stock till May).
Looking to go turbo and ems with MS pnp. Been reading faq's and stuff like crazy. So far I've decided on the begi manifold and downpipe and a gt2560r. my goals would be hopefully a conservative 240-250hp not a lot of money, but plenty of time to save up and do this thing right the first time around
anyone got a good place to find a gt2560r that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I've been thinking about lurking in the sr20 forums and seeing if people are selling them and maybe get it rebuilt.

oh I have considered them, and then upgrading later, but I might as well just save up more and do it later. I was also thinking of getting a megasquirt pnp first before I go turbo while I save up for the good stuff

Running on the MS for a while before adding a turbo is the best way to proceed. Becoming proficient with the MS and getting your tuning and driveability issues sorted out before everything else is highly recommended.

just an update to my into thread yes the car is lowered. I guess it's still settling down after being jacked up or something because the car doesn't look so monster truck like right now. shoulda waited till later to take pics
oh yeah, finally started buying stuff for my turbo setup so far I've dumped cash on a begi downpipe, turbo, 550cc injectors. looking for a manifold and will probably ask braineack for a diypnp
