Hey guys, just thought i'd introduce myself, as it was pointed out that i have not done so. Anyhow, I've been lurking this forum for a while, but really haven't contributed much. I'm not really a "Newb" as i prob. have more experience in the auto/racing industry than a lot of others, though i also realize there are people out there with more knowledge than myself, and i'm always open to new perspectives and ideas. That being said, i also have little patience for people that think they know it all and have nothing constructive to say (this will prob. get me in trouble....but hey....thats me!)
So heres a little about me. I have been working on race cars on and off since 2001. My experiences are mostly working on/prepping cars for the Grand-Am series (Both Continental, and Rolex cars), though i have also worked with IMSA, ALMS, and IRL teams. I have been fortunate to have worked with some VERY talented drivers, and some successful teams. I spend my days wrenching on motorcycles (BMW and Ducati). I am pretty much able to do any repair i would ever need to do, though i'm not always motivated to do so....
I Currently have 2 miatas. My DD is a 99, and is Auto (try not to laugh too hard) and i have a 01 that i hope to use as a donor to build an Exocet. I hope to utilize this forum as an asset for miata specific information, and hope i can contribute as well. Thanks for taking a min to get to know a lil about me.

Hiyas Mike! We don't have many folks running automatic Miatas around these parts so auto specific info may be sparse. Other than that, you are in the right place for nuts and bolts Miata info.
Welcome to the forum! Its a hotbed of rage from repressed homosexual urges seeing as we all drive hairdressers cars. You'll get used to it after a while
