Ive been on Miata.net for a while and I thought as I started to get more serious with my turbo project i should probably use you guys as a source. Im looking at an ebay factory rebuilt garrett T2554, 2560, or maybe a decently priced ball-bearing 2254R locally (lots of 240s in the area) and im sourcing the plumbing, lines, manifold, and Zoom3 for fuel/spark from Bell. In the future im planning on running an ebay intercooler with custom piping and run 8-10psi but thats later.

So I sent Steph an email and im waiting on her reply.

T2560R? If i find one, itll most likely be the one ill use, but there are a wealth of turbos from failed honda projects out here. Ill keep you updated.

I think the only turbo on craigslist in the area is a T-25 from... Oakland. Came out of a Subaru EJ25 for 200 miles.

Do you know any of the BAMO guys? I moved from the south bay to DC in 05. grew up there.

Not really. Ive only met one member of the Miata community and he didnt even live in my city. Im a bit reclusive.

Yeah I heard the hazing was pretty epic and I've seen it a couple times and I was kinda wondering where all of M.net's frustration was relieved.

Wasnt going to turbo the car two days after i bought it :giggle:

I decided to be active on m.net, have the car set up to handle properly/learn to drive the thing, and now im here learning to boost it. Better than entering the flame pit not knowing anything... :)
