New Miata Owner - 93 Mariner Blue
Hey everyone,
Well my name is Connor and the other weekend I picked up my 93 Mariner Blue Miata.
So far I've fixed the front right blinker from blinking fast as the turn signal wire harness was bad, I've washed it once and completely cleaned out the interior and engine bay. The front left of the bumper was bent too and so I popped that out already. The front right popup light was a little wobbly so I tightened up the nuts on it and all is good now. Right speaker would cut out too and monkeyed with the wires and got that working.
Cleaned up the engine bay a ton. Before it was caked in dirt and practically had mud in certain areas. A half hour of simple green and it's now presentable.
Plans are to hopefully autocross as well as just drive the crap out of it. Previous two owners would put less than 200 miles on it each summer so it's definitely ready for someone to love it. It currently has 109k miles and no rust at all and a solid body. Picked it up for $2,000 cash.
Things left to do include fix the cigarette lighter and interior foot area lights. Both fuses checked out so I'll have to pull things out and check the resistance and see where there is 12v. Interior lights I'm not sure about, could be two burned out bulbs or maybe wiring as well.
Future mods will hopefully include a hard dog roll bar, wheels and tires, coilovers or just springs, turbo kit, and all the other little things that add up.
Anyone got favorite wheels for Mariner Blue?
Hopefully I'll become a regular here! Sorry for the long post.

Nothing wrong with a long first post... Car looks to be in great condition overall, and it sounds like you have some good plans for it. anything you can possibly want to know about modding your car can be found on this site.... as long as it is performance oriented. the search bar up top comes in very handy, but if you absolutely cannot find what you are looking for, there are many very knowledgeable people on here that im sure would be glad to help. Welcome!!!
