Hi there,

I've actually been a member for a while now, but found myself unable to post anything.

Anyway...

I 1st fell in love with Mazda's Eunos Roadster back in the early 1990s while stationed at Kadena AB, Japan, when I bought my 1st little N/A 1.6.

I finally ended up retiring in Las Vegas, where I find myself the proud owner of 1 each red/white 1992 Supercharged/Intercooled, and 1each black 1991 Turbo/Intercooled Mazda Roadsters.

My 1992 (her name's Megan) is absolutely perfect in every way, but my 1991 (his name's Marco) is about to receive a complete forced induction redux.

Somehow I feel that my fellow Miata Turbo forum members will help make the Marco project a great success.

Do you really refer to your cars by those names or is that just an internet thing?

Welcome

Well for Marco (for those opposed to naming their cars... know that I'm not of that camp), I'm considering a Flying Miata Voodoo II turbo system, and eventually going for up to 10psi of boost sometime this summer when I have more time to play around with it.

What do you suggest?

Thanks!

I wouldn't worry too much about me naming my cars, as it's just something of a family tradition that I've kept alive.

I look forward to both learning and contributing to the forum as much as possible.

Well, I did a bit more research and ended up ordering the BEGI-S Turbo System, and expect it to arrive in 4-6 weeks.

Funny though, with regards to some of the 'veterans members', I'm getting the impression that there's a faction that simply doesn't take too kindly to new member questions, and would rather ridicule/belittle their efforts rather than offer any real/useful assistance.

I know that this place is known for 'busting balls', but I'm wondering if this initial impression is correct, and some members are just a bit hostile?

Either way, there's just too much good information here to let a few (seemingly) bad attitudes spoil the entire experience.

you'll find that on every forum I imagine.... but welcome If you ask very obvious question's that could be answered from searching, you'll be pwned a new one. But if you search correctly you might find all of you Q's have already been answered. That's just how it is!

Well, at least Paul may not pick on you. Welcome to the forum. Nice looking cars

Sounds like a great way to meet your goals.

Don't sweat it. It's typical newb hazing. It will pass. They/we are also used to teenager/20-somethings that are clueless. For those of us old enough to have spawned these kids, it's a bit of a shock until you understand that they do it to everyone.

You will be pleased with the Begi-S kit. Great starting point for what you are planning to do. Welcome to the forum.

good to have you back, Megan's a cutie
