I decided to go ahead and join, as from time to time I read a thread that I'd like to contribute to.
I bought my '99 from the dealer in Nov. of 1999, and I started modifying it soon after it was paid for (2004). Here are a few of the improvements: Go fast parts: BRP/Stage One Tuning hotside MP62 supercharger 60mm supercharger pulley, 120mm crank pulley Edelbrock 70mm throttle body Track Dog Racing air to air intercooler BRP/Stage One Tuning hiflow intake manifold 350cc injectors GReddy E-Manage Ultimate Jackson Racing header Goodwin Racing midpipe Roadstersport III muffler Cooling: PWR radiator GasHead Motorworks custom coolant re-route Wheels and tires: 15x9 6UL 225/45-15 Toyo R888 It used to be my daily driver, but now it's just a street legal HPDE car. |
Welcome neighbor ;)
Very nice list of mods there. Even more so being that you don't have the Hyper Reroute. Cheers! |
Thanks, neighbor.
I like that Steve McQueen quote, too. My other favorite quote is: "And now my friend, the first-a rule of Italian driving:" [Franco rips off his rear-view mirror and throws it out of the car] "What's-a behind me is not important." -Raul Julia, The Gumball Rally |
Welcome. Another Texan in the fold.
|
I know that car and that driver!

going to the lemons race this weekend?
|
I'd really like to; I know Matt Groner's (Matthew's Auto Sales) team and Clint Host's (GasHead Motorworks) team are going to be there, and I'd like to show support for the local shops.
