G'day from NZ

Hi All,
Just got my turbo setup up and running. I bought an '89 import Eunos Roadster a couple of years ago as something to play with. After my girlfriend shouted me an open day at a local track I got silly ideas of turbochargers into my head and bought an Ebay manifold. ten months later I had assembled everything required for my turbo setup and it took about four days to put it together spread across two months. This has been very much a budget hobby build, the car was cheap and so is everything I've installed so far. The approach is 'fun' but obviously when too much stuff breaks it can get a bit frustrating :) Current setup is: '89 Eunos Roaster 1.6L TD04HL-13G DIY steampipe log manifold (ebay manifold cracked real quick) EVO intercooler (not sure which EVO but it's big) Numerous silicone elbows + aluminium joiners for the IC piping 2" downpipe, non divorced wastegate Currently stock exhaust but plan a 2.5" catback DIYPNP N76 BMW TPS (from a 318i or something) BPT injectors from a GTX, cleaned and flowed at 346cc 6spd gearbox Stock 1.6 clutch and diff. Ohlins coilovers Mintex M1166 pads + better fluid 14x6" wheels + Dunlop Star Spec Z1's for the street 15x7" Sparco NS2's + 195/50 Dunlop DZ03G for the track 'eBay' 52mm radiator I'm pretty happy with how things have worked out and will be spending the next couple of months seeing how things hold up to the heat and fine tuning things. currently running 11psi boost which is what the stock wastegate is set to. Future work would be sequential injection/COP's (just for the heck of it), 1.8 Diff, exhaust, better ducting for the radiator. |
welcome
