fastrider8686 02-04-2015 03:42 PM

Haha I aint that crazy but thanks for the advice lol

You could probably even push 9psi. Obviously, it doesn't matter what size your turbo is. Psi is psi.

Boost on stock ecu, No

But a 99-00 flyin miata kit with voodoo should suit your goals well.

fastrider8686 02-04-2015 03:48 PM

True I want between 8-10 psi. My goal for now is about 200 hp.
Can u do that pretty easily with using all the old electronics??

18psi 02-04-2015 03:49 PM

as long as it's an ebay turbo kit, just set it a 8.99psi and decimate all at race warz

9.001 will blow your engine through the hood and into oblivion

yes stock ecu is fine, just make sure to turn the CAS clockwise and run 87 octane (it gives more power and is cheaper too)

fastrider8686 02-04-2015 03:49 PM

no boost on stock ecu:(

just make sure it's JDM and you'll be good

and make sure you turn on autot00n on your megasquit

concealer404 02-04-2015 03:53 PM

I hear you. Spending the money and effort twice is always the best way to go.

WOAH WOAH WOAH....

MEGASQUIT?

You should get the megasquit now before you turbo anything, if thats the route you'd like to take.

Learn to tune now with no turbo, no blow up :crx:

Get turbo, profit & mad bitches  tune away.

fastrider8686 02-04-2015 03:57 PM

ya the problem is a mega squirt is $1000

18psi 02-04-2015 04:02 PM

just get a regular squirt, it's cheaper

concealer will squirt you for free

fastrider8686 02-04-2015 04:03 PM

In the trubo worlds, $1000 is 'acceptable'.

$1000 does not even scratch the surface of 'what could be spent'. :2cents::2cents:

But if the price of the MS steers you away, you should look into the flyin miata kit w/ voodoo. You literally for the most part, bolt on and bewst.

Where as with the MS, you're going to be tuning all the little details that're already provide with the stock ecu.

Megasquirts are $260 unassembled. Do you even solder, bro?
You can pick up a used one for about $400.
But getting a turbo on your car with any halfassed functionality will still cost you $2000 with used parts, and more if you want good used parts.
