Default N00b, 1990 Miata, Virginia

Hi all,

As the info states, I'm new with a 1990 base model in Virginia. The car is a base model with manual steering, A/C, and came with a hardtop, '94+ braces, R-pkg lips, TSIs and some other doodads, as well as only 69,000 miles. Two months ago I bought it off of my neighbor who had it for 10 years and paid $3,750 for the privilege.

I've since replaced the water pump, timing belt, coolant hoses, radiator, all the fluids, and rebuilt the shifter. After owning it for three weeks I took it out to my first autocross and had a great time. Soon I want to get a set of NB Billies and rebuild/revalve them for some eBay special coilovers.

Me? I'm a student in Blacksburg VA studying Mechanical Engineering. This is my first remotely performance oriented car, I used to just ride my motorcycle for a speed fix. It's old, red, and Japanese as well.

Now, pictures

Welcome. Very clean car, I don't think we see many 90's with only 69k on em.

Thanks everyone. Just crossed over 75,000 miles, I'm not babying this car. Also, I'm working on a Bilstein eBay coilover setup, hopefully I can get that done soon.
