I'm near Albany, NY, and I bought this car: https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t35329/.

I finally got it a couple weeks ago, and promptly started attending to some of what it needs: wiring the PLX correctly to the MSQ so that I can tune my tables with MLV, sent injectors out to Marren Injection, adjusted ride height for our bumpy roads/tracks in the NE, and ordered up a set of Carbotech XP8s with new rotors.

Turns out two of the injectors were junk, new balanced 460s ordered from Marren, one caliper was pissing brake fluid, 4 new calipers ordered from Rock Auto. First track day with the turbo is Monday at Lime Rock (any mt.neters going?), and dyno day is on the following Monday.

First impressions, even before any real tuning, is that the car is fast. A lot faster than an mx5 cup car, a bit faster than a stock 2000 911, probably as fast as a stock c5 vette, maybe as fast as a formula ford (?), and not as fast as a c5 zo6. I am really looking forward to surprising some porsche, vette, and lotus owners at the track, especially once they find out I spent 5k on my car with 230k on the clock!

After dyno tuning, next up is new suspension and bushings (probably FCM setup, anyone want the GAZ coilovers?) and proper align/cornerweighting, racing seats so that I can properly use the harnesses, some tires (ecsta xs, RA-1s, R888s, or something equiv). Just looking forward to getting out on the good tracks on the east coast: lime rock, the glen, monticello, vir.
