New Miata Owner
Hello all. I recently bought a black '99 Miata 5-speed base model with 58K miles. The wife wanted a convertible, and I could afford that. I already own a 2007 Mazdaspeed3 GT with 15K miles on it for high speed, but it's nice to have a convertible for cruising.
It already had the Ronal R23 14" wheels on it, which I like, and a rear lip spoiler. No Bose, crank windows, cloth interior.
So far I've only done only minor mods (had the car just over a month) -- cone air filter, Autoz Concept white face gauges, added OEM windblock, windblokker mesh windblocker, aluminum shift ****, added tweeters to the stock location. I also had to fix up some stuff that the dealer should have taken care of -- mainly a few fuses, bulbs and missing mounting bolts for the under engine tray. Overall the car is in good shape with a few minor dents and scuffs.
I have no intention of going aftermarket FI on the Miata -- I already tried that when I put a bolt on S/C kit on a '02 Hyundai Elantra. I never did get the darn thing tuned before I totalled the car. The piggyback tuning is a major pain in the butt!
Basically I'm here looking for some miscellaneous parts and stuff. Mainly a set of 16" wheels for a good price.
