hello everyone

Hi my name is Frank. I am the proud owner of a 1990 bone stock classic red miata. I am new to the miata community since i have only owned the car for 7 months. i just figured i would introduce myself. i do plan on boosting my miata but i cannot decide whether to go with a prefabbed kit or make my own. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome, post wisely...
Now where are the pics?

My adive to you is to start drinking............heavily!
If you have the skill/knowledge/time, do it yourself, if you don't, get a kit, there is a cheap greddy kit in the forsale section right now. $800 check it out...
What are your power goals? What do you plan to do with your car?
Cheers

You will learn more with a DIY kit, you will get turboed faster with a prefabbed kit. If you have time go with the DIY kit.

Join miatamob.org as well. Buncha guys from jersey.

You could always get the cheep greddy and fab up anything elce you want latter, Thats what i did. That way you dont have to wait to get boosted and you can take you time making all the other parts you want.

Welcome! DIY is fun but you will most likely spend a little more and spend a little more time. Prefab is't a bad way to go either.

I would like to break 200 whp to the wheels at the very least. I was leaning towards the greddy kit more due to it low cost, but I wasnt sure if that turbo it comes with can support those numbers.
