Welcome, I hope you enjoy reading. Your best platform will be an 1.8 NA, IMHO a 94 being the more practical one.

Where in FL are you?? Update your location

Welcome. Please don't start a thread like this:

"ey yo I love RX-7's and got a bunch of spare motors lying around how do I put a rotary in a miata lol.i tried searching but only came up with nothing rofl bye"

Avoid stuff like that and you'll be awesome.

If you were a hot chick I'd make love to you right now.

Hell, you wouldn't even have to be hot, or a chick!

On a more serious note, get a 94 miata with a torsen.

no homo... lol
please dont flame me since i am a noob of the miatas but do all of the 94s come with torsen or would it have to be a m,a,b,c,r edition?
ive also read that the torsen II is "better, stronger" than torsen I, is this correct?

Differential Spotters Guide

The Type II is a fundamentally more robust design, but I have not heard of either unit breaking from track use. They seem to last forever. Off-road is another matter. The Torsen does not take kindly to rotational impact loads.

If the 94 has an LSD, it is a Torsen. But not ALL 94s have LSDs.
