Hello guys and ladies

Hello all. I am a miata newbie so bear with me. I just took my car in on trade for a truck I had, with plans on doing a little autocrossing with it. It is pretty much bone stock now, but every single vehicle I own is turbocharged, so I fugure I better start reading up on this one. Be easy on me if I ask stupid questions as I am not a one car mark kind of guy, and one thing I have learned is what works one car doesn't necesarily work on the other. Glad I found this place, and I look forward to learning something from you guys.

Sweet!
Put your year of car, package, something in your signature so peeps know what you drive. The Miata is no exception to the "some things work and some things don't" rule... but the basics are the same. In fact, the BP motor is so stout, you really have to try hard to hurt it. I ran 15psi through a 258k mile motor for 10k miles and to my knowledge it's still out there running somewhere.

Don't laugh guys, but I seiously just had to go out in the driveway and look in my door jamb and pop the hood to find out my car was a '97 model with a 1.8l. Like I said, I just took it on trade for a truck and really knew very little about it other than it ran good and was owned by a trusted friend who needed a truck. I now know it has kyb-agx's on it, a set of Rotas, and I discovered a strut tower brace when I popped the hood. How's that for blind faith? Haha. I guess I can update my profile now.:)

Too much information?? haha. Honestly, I have watched this car for the past couple of years go through the limited upgrades he was able to do and when curcumstances required its sale I thought it would make me a good car to run the cones with.

My other cars include an '85 Shelby charger, and '89 shelby daytona, an '00 VW Golf 1.8T, and the dd is an '04 Ram 2500 with a cummins. I've had a few muscle cars of different flavors, a couple of dsms, and a few Porsches. Like I said, I'm not really a one car mark kind of guy. I'll get some pics as soon as it stops raining in west KY.
