New Years Resolution - Turbo!
Ok, so it's been on my bucket list to have a turbo car. For the last year, I have been working on a 6 pack and that didn't go too bad!, so figured I'd bring in the New Year with something new and that will be setting up a turbo on my NA 94 as well as providing good brain food!
I bought a used Flyin Miata VoodooII setup yesterday (mostly complete w/o Voodoo ), which I will be replacing with a Megasquirt. The guy had it running pretty good with a Megasquirt, so I look forward to jumping in there and building my own. I have a background in electronics too, so to build it from scratch with be even more fun.
It's been great learning from all of you so far reading up on things and this site is a wealth of info. I know I will have to be patient as I'm digesting things and planning things out.

Thanks. Initially bought this car for $1000 with a hard top. Very driveable and mechanically sound. Just hammered out some fender dents, rubbed the paint out, replaced the cracked plastic window and sold the hardtop for $850. So, yeah a good $150 purchase
Initially did that stuff, then dropped in a set of Ground Control Coilovers along with some 5 way tokicos, flyin miata swaybars. Bolted on Jackson Racing CAI/header and was just going to setup for track days with stock motor.
Yeah, so compared with the S30/240z, I wanted something that I wouldn't have to worry about every time I parked it, more or less a sleeper / fun driving car. Beat the heck out of it and not have to worry... the same kind of reliability that I have had with the 240z but less attention getting.
So, hopefully will end up with a fun, reliable, sleeper with more power now
