Default Chiming in from UT

It’s about time to start acquiring parts so I better introduce myself. My permanent home is in Utah, but I work as a sales manager for a security company and currently live in Charleston WV until Sept. I picked up this 94 M edition in April for just over 2k. My interest in building a miata actually came from the instructors at the porsche driving school. Papasmurf and I attended 2 sessions there through a work incentive. All the instructors said if you can’t afford a porsche, which I can’t, a miata is the way to go. So here I am.

My goal is to build a daily driver that I can take to the occasional track day. I plan on acquiring most of the parts from the vendors on this site. I don’t plan on redoing the internals or tranny anytime soon, so I'm shooting for an initial goal of 200rwhp.

Here a few pics

I thought you meant UT as University of Texas, or University of Tennessee. The only 2 acceptable UT's to be from, welcome!

QFT, it was vindicating to hear all of the PSDS instructors say over and over about how miatas are the best bang-for-buck racing solution.

I wanted to see if it would fit in the toy haluer. It was a tight fit but it did. Should work out nice for track days.
