Hey, be nice, I'm new here ...
Hi, I'm Ed, and I am an addict ...
... well, aren't we all! Two MX5s, 98 NB8A road car, used to be the dual purpose road/track car, now just a pretty stock car that does the occasional track day, such as next month's 6 hour regularity relay at Phillip Island. The other is a Jap import NB8C race car, mainly used for supersprinting with some success. Have looked at this site, and wonder why it has taken me so long ... That's enough, can't waste any more time here, there are threads to be read ... |
Welcome, show us some pics.

Welcome, Gee Emm. Check out the Miata Gallery and post up some pics!
|
Yes, need pics of NB8C!
|
Seriously, stop learning and show us the damned cars.

The racecar makes it's debut at Mt Panorama, Bathurst (2009). http://edcory.smugmug.com/Other/Phot...6JPM_306-M.jpg Wrapping up the 2006 NSW State Supersprint C'ship Class 2B, (5 wins, 1 2nd, 1 3rd) http://edcory.smugmug.com/Other/Phot...ey%20No1-M.jpg Doing what MX5s do best - showing that horsepower isn't everything! :)(Phillip Island 6 hr, 2013) |
Bathurst! It is so awesome that you can drive that track.
Welcome to the forum. |
Thanks for the welcome!
Yes, Bathurst is great, there are not many opportunities for the club level competitor to bag a lap time there, so you grab the opportunity when you can! I am lucky that I was there twice, and the green car was faster in 2008 than the race car! Well, it was wet in 2009, and it was a shakedown really for the racecar, so the comparison is a little one-sided. |
G'day Ed. Regularity relay. LOL. Love it.
Do some build threads would you? I like seeing how things are built for endurance. |
Sorry Rick, haven't done a build thread.
Currently looking at aero, that is why I am on here after lurking. I am planning to document that however. Just have to remember to take the photos  |
