Hi
What's up guys. My name's Eric and I'm new to the miata as well as turbo community. Recently purchased a 91 miata off an elderly women for $800 in basically good condition. I've done a couple basic maintence to the car plugs, wires, gaskets, seals, etc. and now I decided to go turbo. Decided to go the non traditional route and picked up a full 1.8 swap and transmission off a 94 for 500 bucks. Picked up an sr20 t25 off a buddy for 100 bucks with an xs bov as well as a full IC setup for 100. The plan is to boost the 1.8 and make around 180ish whp on stock internals. I've been lurking on this forum for a while and it has definitely been helpful. Especially since I'm basically clueless when it comes to forced induction. Anyways, hi.

The 1.6 diff is made out of wood, or maybe a hard aged cheese. It can break at stock power levels with good tires and hard launching. |
