Default Hi from Pittsburgh

Greetings. I'm a lawyer in Pittsburgh and I just bought a 91 Miata with 150k on the clock, drove it up to PA from Florida. First convertible I've owned so I've been enjoying that for now, though I'm about halfway to my turbo setup and hope to be out on the track with it later this month. 5-6psi on a budget and no big plans as this is essentially a 4th car in my garage, but glad to be part of the forum and have already found lots of good info for the project.

Cheers,
Caleb

Welcome. Add your location to your details so that others in your area can make themselves known in case you need help. They can also let you know about events or get togethers.

What components are you using for your build?

Thanks for the tip on the details, I put it in there.

I'm using a T25 and intercooler from a Grand Prix TurboCoupe (so random), OBX manifold that will probably crack, 8:1 FMU, 265cc injectors, and a Bipes. We'll be fabbing the DP and exhaust ourselves and I'll more than likely be running an EGT and a wideband since we will undoubtedly dyno tune. I recognize the limitations of the FMU but I'm not dumping much money into this setup, just looking for a moderately reliable 150rwhp - the whole project is partially motivated by the fact that I already have the turbo/IC/EGT/Wideband, and this was a $1000 car.

If it blows up, I have an excuse to build something serious.

Hey Caleb, welcome. I'll have to keep an eye out for your car around town.

Welcome! Nice car. My frist Miata was a '91 Silver EXACTLY like yours, but I think mine had something like 220,000 miles on it?
