Hi from England

Hi all, been lurking for a while and finally decided to sign up to get some answers to the few question i've got left before I go turbo.

Going to be using MS PNP, with LC-1 WB. T25g from a Nissan Silvia, Begi Manifold, Nissan Pulsar intercooler, Supra 320cc injectors.

I'm going to get a custom downpipe made up and use the Racing Beat/HKS exhaust that I've got for now.

Here's some pics of the car as it stands now.

Fix your headlight lids, the gap is pissing me off.

Atlanta93LE 06-26-2008 03:11 PM

Hope you're not going to be boosting too high with the 320cc injectors, or have plans for an AFPR.

rxmiata 07-10-2008 07:32 PM

leave the guys gap.........I love the car looks wicked mate..........i lived in manchester before moving to US welcome

samnavy 07-10-2008 07:43 PM

Those 320cc injectors are going to limit you to about 7-8psi... which will be good for about 170-180whp w/that turbo. Upgrade to 460 or 550cc and push 14psi... make 230whp.

Crackers 07-11-2008 05:50 AM

I have been thinking about going for the 550s because to be honest that's the only thing that's going to limit me. Oh and i've not got a proper turbo exhaust yet either.

Thing is the longer this project runs the more power i want. When I started out i was only looking for 170-180 at the fly, now i want 220-230 really. Need to get it done soon, before i decide i want 300bhp and need to build an engine lol.

Nearly there now, a friend is sorting out some intercooler pipework for me, and then i just need a man clutch and off we go. Plus i need to sort out the money situation as there's bound to be things i've forgotten.

rxmiata 07-11-2008 07:03 PM

are you running a stand alone system? Mega Squirt is an awsome system for anyone ..DIY or PRO

and its cheap!!!!

Crackers 07-12-2008 08:29 AM

Yeah got Megasquirt PNP, i'm by no means pro, have had a play with it while the car's been NA so I know how to get it somewhere close. But i'm going to take it and get it properly mapped once it's all done. I do 70 miles a day and I need to know it's right.

rxmiata 07-13-2008 07:15 AM

understand that mate...........if your unsure there is no harm in getting the pros to do it for you, that way you have peace of mind right

Crackers 07-13-2008 01:47 PM

exactly mate, The spanner bits i can do but just want to be able to drive and not have to worry about breaking anything.

rxmiata 07-14-2008 04:29 PM

70 miles a day ? where are you going?.......thats quite a trip in the UK....trafffic is sooo horrible..........

Crackers 07-14-2008 05:08 PM

That's my trip to work mate. Sucks but houses are so expensive I can't afford that either. The way the price of petrol is going tho, I think it's going to be cheaper to buy a house lol.

rxmiata 07-15-2008 01:18 PM

wow, when i lived there about 3 yrs ago petrol was about 1.50 a litre......how much is it now...i might be wrong about that i cant remeber what i was paying then...it was in manchester

Crackers 07-15-2008 01:48 PM

nah it's gone up from about 109p per litre to about 130p per litre this year.

before then it's always pretty much been under £1

rxmiata 07-15-2008 05:13 PM

maybe...i couldnt remember , but i think i had converted it to about 8 usd a gallon...so 100 p sounds about right..cheers,
how r u making out with petrol and traffic and all the new taxes?
