You were nice. And the airbrushing work is very time consuming and seemed to be well done. I can't stand non-functional ride heights, but I didn't feel it was appropriate to mention here.
I was thinking about covering the tailgate and bumper of my pickup truck in tags and seeing if they can figure out where to send the ticket from the red-light camera.

I thought his intro was quite mild.
But seriously. He thought he would post his car here, and everyone would start sucking his dick about the appearance as they spoonfeed him step-by-step on how to turbo his car.
If that's the kind of research he puts in before he posts, he was gonna get banned anyway.

Hello Braineack,
Could you please delete the thread, now named "Hi MT.net. Help me make my interesting car project legit. be gentle, I'm new.". I thought this was a mature forum, but I was so wrong. When Moderators/Administrators start changing thread names, it just gets ridiculous.
The thread does also contain images with copyright from Norway, and needs to be removed.
After you have deleted my thread, you can also delete my user.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Alexander

Ok. So this thread was a good example of people going a little too far out of their way to be ******** to newbs.
And it's gonna stop.
We (the staff) have discussed this situation at length, and we are in agreement on this. The meet-n-greet section is a safe haven for new users to post their **** without cluttering the rest of the forum, and while it's perfectly ok to say "Meh, I'm not a huge fan of such-n-such...", there will no longer be, as sixshooter rather elegantly put it, dick-slamming.
It's simple, folks: If we drive away every newb who shows up, then the forum becomes stagnant. We also fail in our moral obligation to educate the world about the benefits of turbos and kittens, and just wind up boosting the membership at CR.
I don't like boosting the membership at CR.
I just handed out a bunch of infractions. 18PSI, you only got a warning, because an infraction would have resulted in an auto-ban for you. This should tell you something. I hate doing this because it makes me feel like an elementary-school teacher pasting frowny faces on the attendance chart, but a certain number of you folks aren't leaving us with any choice.
You see what it says under my name there to the left? It says "Don't be a Dick." That's Wheaton's Law, folks.

Also I noticed you specifically said the meet-n-greet section is a safe haven. Does that mean if some hapless noob were to make a 'how do I trubo?' thread in Engine Performance or DIY Turbo that we can release the hounds?
