Whew man that head looks nasty. Start a build thread in the build forum so we can keep up with the progress.
Are you going to try fixing the keyway or going to replace the whole crank? Are you rebuilding with stock parts or putting some forged stuff in there? With a 300hp goal you'd probably be good to go ahead and spend an extra $300 and put some forged rods in there, that the weakpoint in the motor when you get up to that power level. The whole engine was nasty I believe the previous owner ran engine with no oil And i took the crankshaft to machine shop I'm getting it back today . I'll post pictures And yes I'm getting forged rods I also ported and polish the head |
