Whats going on Guy's/Gal's?

My name is Brian, i am 23 years old, I like long walks on the beach with my partner. I decided to pick up a miata so i can be cute and gay with my partner.

Alright, so on a serious note I picked up a 95 Red Miata with 126K off of a local in Nassau county, NY who was a Mazda Tech. I am really happy with the car because it has original window sticker, all service records which are up to date, had all the wear and tear items replaced before i bought it including a new top. I bought the car to be a fun daily driver but over the last two weeks started to fall in love with the gay quirky car and think i am going to ditch my Subaru for this so i can track again a rear wheel drive car that I actually feel connected when i am out on the track. It has 1, minor imperfection being a little rust spot on the rear passenger rocker which is probably worse then i want to think but with the help of some friends and a spare drivers fender i think i have a solution to make it disappear.

Aspirations with the car, I guess i am trying to build a well rounded auto-x, track, DD that i can eventually turbo (GT25-28). But first i am going to learn the car over the last two auto-x's of the season while its stock and perform some minor maintenance upgrades over the winter first dialing in mounts and bushings and then replacing the blown struts with some freebie tokico blue's that i am getting from a friend. I have been reading this forum for the last two weeks and really seem to like the community since it reminds me of my e30 days over at r3vlimited. Which was a similar no BS community but has gone down hill.

I thought i should show you my other pride and joy, when its not broken!

Thanks man, no hard feelings on snagging that since i am sure you saw it before i did and that was such a great deal i knew it wouldn't last long. I will trade you one of my grenaded subaru motors for that hardtop but 1200 bucks is getting into the ballpark of what i payed for the car and other things need to be addressed where i am fine rocking a sweatshirt and throwing the heat on 4.

I was pretty stoked on the Miata since it has the old and recent records for timing belt, waterpump, t-stat, relocated oil filter, new plugs and wires, new soft top, fairly new tires that i have thrashed in my two weeks of ownership and new brakes. It also came with the racing beat front bumper, racing beat style bar and the racing beat soft top cover. I need to address the suspension bushings, struts and a front driver side wheel bearing but i might as well replace them all and then have spares in case i have a failure at the track unless that is not common in miata's?

The Subaru is/was my pride and joy but i am getting sick of replacing motors left and right. I also just dont like the way the car handles either so it might become a cruising car and make the miata the new project DD until it receives boost.
