Hi and yes mine is an auto but most of the supercars now are!

After ten or so years of ownership it is time to turbo my 2000 Miata, auto with Borla duel exhaust, M-Speed fresh air kit, wheels, tires, wood kit, luggage rack etc. but no turbo. DD 106K miles. I'm looking for medium boost, leaning toward less lag then max power, $ matters. Gee I know it's never been asked but here goes, which kit? I haven't toyed with my engines other then some simple bolt-ons stuff. I'm more inclined to a single source option.

I second the reading suggestion.

I came in here to give negative props for the thread title, then saw this was the FNG safezone. Also, I was impressed by that boat.
Tell us more about your mechanical inclinations, abilities, and facilities. And about the boat. |
I would never buy an automatic supercar... Such a waste when the whole point of a supercar is to have fun. I have no fun with just 2 pedals. lol
Seems to be a nice car though. Any close up pics? You can do a tranny swap pretty cheap. $150-$250 for a 5 speed, and $600-$800 for a 6. |
I would drive an auto supercar but never an auto miata.

Have you ever driven a supercar with a dual clutch and some good paddle shifters? There is much fun to be had. Would daily.
I was thinking typical Button shift automatics. lol |
