Default Oh hai turbo kitten!

Hi there. I got my 95 back in March with a "rebuilt engine" that was leaking oil from the pump and had a nasty rattle from under the car. I tried fixing the oil pump myself, but it still leaked, so I took it to Track Dog and had them fix it, replace all the seals (that were supposed to be new?), and throw a new tranny in with new seals (they found no fluid in it).

Since then, I've replaced the screwed up steering wheel, fixed the glovebox that wouldn't open, fixed my stupid luggage rack that I don't like, done a front brake job for 20 bucks (buddy had some BNIB stuff in his toolbox), repaired my soft top with duct tape and Goop (because racecar), put on an FM 2.25" exhaust I got for 20 bucks with a broken off flange, replaced the slave cylinder, and put in a stainless steel clutch line.

The next thing I wanna get is a pile of parts from a buddy that just finished an s2k engine swap. He's got a JR header, K&N CAI, OEM 15's with good Toyo R1R's on them, and some other random **** he just wants out of his garage for dirt cheap. Then I should probably replace the top and suspension, as both are shot to hell. After that I'm probably going to hit the chassis bracing.

Eventually, the turbo will come... But for now, I'm just sitting here fapping to other people's build threads. So, what's up, MT?

Thread is useless without pictures, etc etc:

The Miata is the fun car, the xD is the daily.

Edit: derp, forgot a couple things. Had to do a water pump since I didn't do it when I messed with the Oil pump and neither did TDR, and switched the car over to Toyota Long Life (red) coolant while I was in there. Also I put a radio and speakers in, since there was no audio when I got the car, and I had all that stuff laying around from when I took the full system out of my Malibu. pretty sure that's all now haha

its not "rebuilt" without receipts. I love how many "rebuilt" engines there are in so cal. One guy claimed he had a "rebuilt" engine and I asked what work was done and he said new front main seal and valve cover gasket...

Well other than the derpy oil pump that had a paper gasket instead of a silicone one and the dry tranny, it's been running really well. The only other "major" thing I've had to replace out of necessity instead of voluntarily was the water pump.
