I just picked up a beat-up mostly stock 1999 for shared daily & track duty. I will be trying my hardest to leave the miata as stock as possible because I already have a Mazda project car. But I have a feeling that isn't going to work very well. ;)

No pics of the miata yet... (just imagine a dented black NB miata in your head, lol).

The other cars:

The RX-7 is an eternal project and has been in pieces for a while now. I just haven't had the time to put it back together. The TR6 has been a blast ever since I restored it ~10 years ago.

I'm looking forward to cleaning the miata up and driving the hell out of it!

What part of VA? We've got a bunch of people here from NOVA, I'm from Charlottesville myself.

I went to school at VT and used to live outside of Richmond, but now I work down in Greenville, SC.

I thought I recognized the VT campus in that TR8 picture. Welcome to the site, seem like you'll fit in well around here.

Wow, I like your taste in automobiles.

Welcome to the show. Looking forward to a well-documented build thread.

That is a beautiful RX-7! I'd love to have one in that color.

They really are great cars, just a bit fragile. I am a fan of V8 FD's, but at the same time the engineering nerd in me is addicted to the unique challenges presented by a turbo rotary engine. In a perfect world I would own a turbo rotary FD for the track and an LSx FD for the street. Some day...
