Default new from MA

hi all,
i'm Damek, i'm 24 in the boston area. i currently drive a stock saab 9-5 and want to build something a bit lighter and less, well, boat-like. a coworker has a miata and swears by the platform, and as it is an awsome design that's been around forever, i figured it was probably a good place to start. after looking through a few build forums, this deffinitly looks like the place for me.

what i really want to do is stop pretending that my saab is a sports car. it get's going pretty quick for it's size, but it's far from sporty. i also want to proove to my father that his audi TT is too controlling, and takes the fun out of owning a sports car.

A stock Audi TT is not a sports car. It's a cute little coupe. Driving one immediately raises your estrogen levels!

i have to agree, the only time i've enjoyed driving it was when i took it out on a frozen lake, the rest of the time it just tries to control everything you do.

Yupp my A4 won't let me do much. It's OK on snow with the AWD you can have some fun. But other than that RWD rules!
