Introduce my NB from Holland

Hello everybody,

Great to be here and i was surfing for some time around the forum reading and learning about the miata.
First off all my name is Kevin i live in Holland and own a 99 mazda miata NB
I own the car for a year now and it has some work to do but i absolut love the way it drives and feels.

The car has done about 156000 km's and was complete stock when i bought it.
The first things i did when i got the car home was:
Boroscopic inspection on all cylinders
Timing belt and tensioner change
Waterpump and regulator change
Cooling water change
Oil and filter change
Spark plug change
Just to give the engine a bit of a freshen up because it has stand still for a while

In the following months i did a lot off research about forced induction for the miata.
Slowly i started to fill in a parts list and the following parts i already installed or bought.
Motorsport electronic ME221 PnP Ecu(installed)
RX8 injectors (installed)
ACT ZM2-HDSS clutch (not installed yet)
Competition flywheel 4,9 Kg (not installed yet)
Aluminium twin core radiator 50mm (installed)
Skidnation coolant reroute(not installed yet)
Ignition coil pack(installed)
Front and rear brake caliper rebuild kit(not installed yet)
Spark plug wires 8mm(not installed yet)
Boost and oil temp gauge(installed)
Momo prototipo steering wheel(installed)
Ducktail spoiler(installed)
Hardtop(installed)
V-maxx coilovers(installed)

Also bought a used turbo Garrett TB2815
Which was useless because there is way to much shaft play(seller didn't told me.. money transfered money gone) so i hoped that it was a case off replacing bearings but when i opened the turbo and removed the bearing it was clear that the journals were damaged severe and the housing will need to be replaced or machined. So i think that i will buy a new turbo...

Anyhow here are some picture's off my miata

Welcome to the forum. There's another member or two on the Netherlands here. I met JaguarJay in Amsterdam two years ago to bring him some parts.

It looks like you have a good plan moving forward.

Hi everyone,

Its been a while since i posted some news here, and there is a lot happened/changed.

In february i started with my turbo build and pulled the engine, when the engine was out there was a rusted and disgusting subframe staring at me
Due to this is decided to refurbish the front suspension off the miata and brought everiyhing to the shop for sandblasting and powder coating.
I also sandblasted the brake calipers and dust/cool shields, sandblasted them and painted these gloss black.
I rebuild the brake calipers with all new parts.
EBC redstuff blocks
EBC turbo groove discs
Stainless braided brake lines

The powder coated parts are finished in gloss black and they look amazing:D
I installed them with all new I.L. Motorsport bushings and ball joints. I also installed new hubs with bearings.

For the turbo build i am almost ready for firing up the engine.
I installed the turbo and intercooler and a lot more things but pictures say more so here are a few pics off the progress.
