just got into the miata scene
 

Recently purchased a 92 miata for a winter project can't wait for her to be up and running in time for spring . I'm new to miatas but have been in the Honda scene for awhile now . Not sure which way to go with the miata though track ,stance or the best of both worlds

I love stance as my daily civic is stanced now but I have always been interested in form and function . This is going to be my daily once spring and summer comes . It currently has a full greddy turbo kit on it now . Very good condition less than 500 miles on it. Its pushing 8pounds on stock internals. No tune all stock

Be careful....14psi is the critical point where you will need to get a tune.

I know its gonna be my daily so I'll probably stay at 8-10 pounds .

You have an opportunity here -- an opportunity for something great. A well-sorted turbo Miata is one of life's great pleasures and a very satisfying car too. The one you bought has been raped by its previous owner, so you have some baggage. However, you can bring it back.

You can rebuild it better, faster, cleaner. We have the technology. Build it for real. Put real engine management. Use proven parts. Be smart.

Or you can also push 8 pounds of boost down your poor, untuned engine's little throat, sending it to an early death. Hopefully the fire destroys your ability to reproduce should you choose to do so.

Forget everything you know about Hondas.

Never commit the term "stance" to print again.

Take some time to look at any posts asking a question, and see what sort of responses they generate. If you see responses like "kill yourself" or "search you fucking wank", avoid making that same mistake that drew the ire of the locals.

Setting clearances? Trying to sort out standalone ECM issues? cobbling together different year/model bits? You're in the right place.

Appearance question? Something about LEDs? can't sort out which anodized lug nuts look best? You may be served better elsewhere.

Be respectful, use your grammar, and by all means search before asking.
