I read the stickies at the top. I normally never do this since I’ve been a part of the tuning car community for over 16 years. That’s right, I was around when you could flame people and it was considered cool. Back when the internet was like the Wild West. That’s actually one reason I’ve joined up here. Most folks here are hilarious. You guys keep me in constant stitches! I joined over on miata.net months ago. I don’t think I’m going back there... it’s like a 2jz forum.

Anyways, I’m new to the Miata game, but have been tuning and racing since age 16. Technically been racing since I was 12. I’ve owned over 38 cars. The Miata (named Kinzy) is number 38. I’ve had RB swapped s13’s, swapped civics, swapped ae86. My latest was a 1uzfe swapped celica with a Ford 8.8 conversion. I do all my own work and am a wiring tech by trade. Should be fun times asking questions here. Don’t hesitate to insult, correct, or emasculate me. I’ve heard it all. Lol.
Oh yeah, I’ve got three cats. So can I get a head start on my cats meter?
May as as well post up some car pics too. When I first got her. This is when I took possession. Yikes. It was a fanboys dream in here. I’ve done some redecorating since. Lumpy Plastip can be shiny.
oh, you would LOVE a 2jz forum... it’s something all of us should experience. You’ll walk away with greater appreciation of any other forum out there, but you’ll also walk away with lost hope in humankind. Double edge sword.
I have plans for track days, but they are far off. Right now it’s getting the car back into fighting shape after the PO’s damage. Basically, it was setup for drifting, but never “drifted”. Yet had a massive dent by the fuel filler, a hydro, slammed eBay coilovers (slammed so much it couldn’t turn without rubbing in front!), no cat, straight piped. CBR1000 COP conversion (with wiring I had to correct and tidy), a hacked crossover tube, an alignment that was the WORST, and the list goes on. I’ve recovered the seats, fixed numerous broken interior parts. It’s now to the point where I can begin doing autocross on the cheap TW440 tires.

is300 owner here and this is accurate. Always a grand time sifting through the "what oil do you all use" or "which coilovers are best" posts to find actual good information, not to mention my.is these days is 80% ads, some of which are borderline NSFW.. Mt.net is a national ******* treasure by comparison.

lmao. So true. My old celica forum had ads regularly for “Asian women”. My wife (who isn’t Asian, and knows I’m not into Asian chicks) walked by one day, saw the ad on my iPad, and said “looks like the internet doesn’t know you at all.” Best guess I have is that “they” couldn’t figure me out, and decided, 1) this must be a man. 2) he likes Asian cars. 3) let’s stereotype him.
