Hi mt.net!
My name is Cassio, im 19 from San Antonio, TX.
I recently aquired my 1991 greddy'ed miata from a good friend for a killer $1200. The car ran pretty good minus the slipping clutch but didnt look so great with the paint flacking like bad dandruff.
As you can see in my build thread it wasn't a week of owning the car that i pulled into the garage to start the first phase of the build. Go check it out!

I am very involved in the local autox club ,SASCA, along with doing events with the austin club.

Before the miata i played with hondas, i still own my 91 civic HB, along with my sts prepped 01 gsr integra. I think the miata is going to serve as a race car a little better than the integra.

Lots of good information on this site, really glad i found it.

Going to any Spokes events this year? I've been thinking about it, but my weekends are pretty busy with school though.

ya i try to make both the spokes and sasca events every month, time and funds permiting.

hustler, I'll take that as a compliment. Sometime i feel out of place sometimes with the other guys in the clubs. Seems like those my age dont get involved in structured motorsports events.
I really enjoy autox with a pation and hopefully be able to do some high speed events more often.
I enjoy all aspects of the sport from the research and enginering side of figuring out the perfect set up to the dirty greasy mechanic side. And of course the thrill of being behind the wheel itself.
