Hey all,

My name is Joshua. I'm in the Cincinnati, OH area and I own a 94m with a few more miles than I'd like to admit. Bought it with 55k in bone stock form with a matching hardtop and all of that jazz. Maintenance was done at the dealer and the carfax was cleaner that shiz.

Then I got ahold of it! Said goodbye to all creature comforts and mildly stripped out all of the interior bits that don't suit the roadster.

Minor mod list:
-Buddy club seat on a pci adjustable rail
-Hard dor m2 hcht with harness bar and rci harness
-Mspnp2 with uego and glowshift boost gauge (ooooh colors, but vacuum...)
-Momo wheel on nrg gen 2 and short hub
-welded pinion for all the responses
-es bushings on all four corners with stiffer rubber for the motor and diff
-tein basis coil (which I am soon replacing with something much, much stiffer)


Many other stupid little things that don't mean anything on paper.

Why am I here?

Simple, I just did a compression test, wet and dry, and all of the numbers were to spec and I'd like to fix that. Target goal is 230whp off of a sr20 t25 turbo. Looking for everything from a manifold to a boost control solenoid.

Looking to make some friends across the country that I can randomly run into at the Gap, of course.

Calculating the turbo budget first, but once I get the car making a steady amount of power, i'll know what i'm looking for. The car will be daily driven as I am still a purist, but I also hate the soft and forgiving springs on the tein basis. I know the twin tube design is much less than ideal for my taste. I'll be looking at something around 1200-1400 for all four corners with 8-10k in the front and around a 7k rear, but i'll be swapping springs around to get it right. Any suggestions on some higher rate dampers that will support a 10k spring?

I should have mentioned the fact that I didn't fancy the idea that i'd have to wait ages to get my hands on a replacement if one were damaged. Revalving is the way i'd go if I knew they could be replaced in a week, but since it isn't the case, I'd prefer to find something with an original design intent like what I'm looking for.

Like the Bilsteins I was talking about that were properly valved off the shelf and many of us use for the track?

I posted out of order... no, I'd take a set of bilsteins and do dirty things with and to them. I was going more towards revalving teins or similar at first thought, but that was the concern. I've played with the idea of billies, but have yet to feel some on stiff springs. Need moar locals in Cincinnati without racelands or the likes... I'm sure they're everything that they say they are.

I have Bilstein "Hard S" on 550/350 springs. They are better on 450/300 or less for comfort.
