Default Maryland Noob Checking In

Hey all
My names Tony, from Harford County in Maryland and Im 20 years old. I am currently a full time student studying for a CPA License. Ive worked part time at a Dealership in the service department and Im currently working as a plumber's apprentice (I know completely different from accounting)

I bought my 1991 miata about 2 years ago was stock at the time besides for a roll bar. Got it for basically nothing and it came with a running parts car ha. Since Ive bought it, Ive upgraded the exhaust (Raceland Header, Hollowed Cat, and Racing Beat cat back), new Racing Beat intake, new suspension and lowering springs, MB Mesh wheels, Pep Boys Fog Lights, and a front lip spoiler. Over last summer I actually purchased a JR supercharger but it didnt last long on in the car. Forgot to hook a couple things (Because Im a NOOB and didn't really research anything) and before I knew it, it put a dime size hole in piston #4 (I was only running 6lbs but it was on a 160k engine that was bonging quarts)". So after that, sold it, did an engine swap, and been running natural ever since.

I also have a 1995 Miata that I purchased in November from the same guy. Got the hardtop this time and some performance and replacement parts.

So yeah this forum and site is GREAT. Ive learning more then I knew when I had the supercharger. Now Im thinking turbo But once I start putting together the turbo kit (DIY for sure) I'll try not to be the big noob that I keep seeing in the new threads and make sure I do research about something before I go posting away.....

More photos to come in the Miata pics section

but

your car definitely looks great

Let me know if you want to hang out. I will show you how to spend lots of money and break your car.
