Better than club roadster?
The question here that you have to ask yourself is, how do you feel about frontal male nudity?
Once you get past that, ask yourself if your MSM is fast. Once you realize that 80% of the miata's on this forum that are turbo'd will **** all over a MSM that has "some goodies", you'll dig deeper and learn how to make your MSM what it should be.
In all honesty, the MSM is the best platform to start from...minus the lousy turbo setup.

Well I was trying to be modest. but its cool. lol. the stock msm isnt fast but mine is. my car is about where the car should be. fm2 kit with a built bottom end is nice. my next investment on the car is the rear end.

If your 'go fast' bits actually make your car faster and not slower, then yes, this site is better than CR.

Welcome to the forum. Yes, this site is assuredly dedicated to making the cars better, faster, and stronger. We also appreciate sharp looking cars, but aren't slaves to style when it compromises function. A fairly high percentage of us track our cars regularly and judge modifications through that prism.

The two things that can get people crossed up when they first join us are asking simple questions that should have involved the search button or reading stickys and getting riled up/butthurt at anything said to them. It's the internet, you're the new guy, and you will be tested a bit to see how you handle it.

Welcome.

There is one more guy in the area that posts on here. He drives an 04 msm also. He is the one that told me about the site. I think he lives in pace. Not sure though.

Weisco pistons, eagle rods, arp head studs, fm 2 kit with the 2.7 hydra and the 2560. The 2.7 has been a pain in the ***. thank fully that have finally worked out a lot of the bugs they where having issues with. happy meal clutch with the 10 lb flywheel. walbro fuel pump, vmax coilovers. xxr521 16*8 +20. slotted rotors on the front. hard top. no soft top. alpine head unit. rf power addition speakers. next thing is going to be a short shifter from miata roadster because both boots are torn and there is play in the shifter. im just trying to figure if i want to get the tall one or the stock height.

I will get some pics up soon. let me take some new ones since it was just repainted.
