Bought a '97 a few months ago. Previous owner installed a pieced together Begi kit. For the most part good parts were used- MSPNP, Hallman Boost Control, Koyo Rad., Magnaflow 2.5, Act clutch, LSD, LC1 wideband, and a few other parts. In the few months I've had it I've added a new top, seats, Hard Dog Double Diagonal bar, stereo with JVC head unit, Momo Mobile Monitor components, Rockford amp, Second Skin dampening on doors, full timing belt/ water pump/seal job, synthetic throughout, and a bunch of other things. Right now I'm working on Toyota COP's, full coolant reroute, re-install of all a/c components, a one-off intake, new turbo heat shields, new radiator/intercooler lines and fabrication of heat exchanger ducting, re-wire of all previous owner's work, and shopping for new rubber and coilovers. Working on a quick and fun car,as a DD and likely at some track events.

I come from a Desert Racing background, after 16 years of driving this is actually my first car. Everything up till this point has been street bikes, dirt bikes, and offroad based trucks. Started going to the indoor karting track a lot last year and had to get a street legal go-cart, hence the Miata.

Been reading anything and everything. -I have to read through the Megasquirt programming and mod related stuff about 3 times before it clicks but I'm getting there.. Big thanks to Braineack among others.

Here's some shitty pics of the car. -Not much to see since its currently being stripped for paint. -Plus I'm Lazy and I never get around to taking pictures. These are the only pics I've ever taken of the car. Plan to do a little better job after re-assembly.






And my project of the day - chopped off the coffee can sized exhaust tip, and stitched on a leftover piece from a Tunda; re-attached the hack job hanger rods so they actually fit, slash cut, and sprayed flat black.
