Howdy, I'm going to have a "come on die young" mid life crisis and start a miata project. Just need to find the right heap.
Great collection of information and individuals here

Probably looking for something obd1 to avoid emissions issues. I'm likely going to use this project to shape up my fabrication skills. I'm fancying some kind of junkyard princess fe3/t5z erector set ppf Frankenstein thing. We shall see, I move at the speed of pitch and am currently deep in my ski building hobby for the next couple of months.
Ehhh here's a shot of my daily (sweet 1989 b2600i 4x4: rx7 turbo II tranny/8" diff? check) A thread has to have pictures of something I suppose

All stock :P

And these are some skis that I threw together a couple years back:

After patiently waiting for over a year, I have acquired a miata to call my own.
I've recently relocated from the Portland metro area to the glorious Albuquerque area. Haha well I guess I've returned to burque prodigal son style.

Anyway the car is a 92, with non-operational A/C, factory manual steering, radical partial racing stripe, 205/50/15 tires, 200k miles, and a crank pulley with a death wobble.
It actually runs fantastically hah.

The plans are vvt engine/driveline swap, ms3x.
Then probably turbo of some sort. I'm moving into a place with a large garage, but will be building a shop soon as well so we shall see where the priorities end up.

Take it out to Motiva Speedway and blow that 1.6 up so that the VVT swap will become that much more urgent.
