New Guy From NC
After talking about it for about 2 years finally bought my first miata. its a no frills 1990 with 196,000 miles. I will be using it as a daily driver, my truck is too expensive to drive everyday. It will also be used to autocross with my dad. I've had it for about a week and can't be happier. Pictures to come when I get off work.

Welcome to the forum. In for pics.

Good luck, I am finding it a bit inconvenient to work on my DD though I also have a backup car (well backup cars). It helps to have a decent battery in your backup, which I don't currently have. I guess if I were to fuck up my 99 I could swap the battery from it into the 94.

He drives a stock Miata. It takes him a while to get home from work.

Sorry the PO did a lot of weird stuff to this car and I have been trying to fix it as quickly as possible.https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1380317439

Aside from the obvious cosmetic problems, the exhaust and interior were a train wreck. Cut off the exhaust before having a chance to take a picture of it but instead of bending the pipe properly the PO welded a number of different sized pieces together.
I have fixed the exhaust, rewired the audio system, replaced the 3A "racing" seats with OEM seats, have tokico illuminas and FM springs in the mail, next is wheels, tires, bumper, paint. As a positive, has a type 2 lsd, and a very clean, solid running motor. |
