So I got a new miata and this sweet ebay turbo kit.

Since this kit doesn't come with an oil feed I was thining of getting a

Plastic Funnel with Long Spout Mesh Strainer Gasoline Automotive Car Oil Change | eBay

and run it to the turbo from the drivers seat and just pour in oil if the turbo starts to whine.

Wd-40 works like nitrous on a 2 stroke engine. I thought about running a hose to the carbs and mounting a can of wd-40 so I could just "nos" the carbs whenever I feel like it.
Moral of the story:
Not sure if serious.

Now, for the the oil that comes OUT of the turbo.

Pro-Tip Waste gates and turbo oil should vent to atmosphere.

Over then next few posts I will explain how to modify the passanger seat to hold a small generator and welding rig. This will easily allow me to reweld the ebay manifold at the end of the drive way as I take it on it's first test drive.

I feel like between the avatar, the word 'cat' in the name, and the ability to transform the miata into a mobile welding platform, we may just have a winner here.

The EVO is stock it's my wifes grocery go getter. The MR2 is a project car for my son when he turns 16. The Miata will be for my youngest son.

The MR2 had some issues when I bought it. for instance this was sitting in the oil pan.

I will get some other pics up soon. The engine is in the car and I'm drving it with 16 psi. With the stock turbo it's putting down about 225whp in the mile high city which is decent. I have a T3/T4 with an internal WG adapter that has a 3" vband that goes to a mild steels 3" down pipe. The "cat" back is an Apexi N1 "loud as my mother in law". On the shelf I have a top feed fuel rail and 880cc injectors.

The rest of the mods on the car include an Excedy Clutch Fidanza flywheel and HKS gaskets. It has custom axles coming out the LSD transfered transmission.

Tokico 5 ways and eibach springs. It's sitting on stock rubber at the moment.

I still need to get my MSPNP and proper FPR then I'll need to dyno tune it. It should get 300hp to the wheels at this altitude easy. Plus enough reliability to last my son 5-6 years with no issues.

Hey thanks! It's balanced to 9k, but the toyota oil pump will only go to 8500 before it flys apart and launches shrapnel into hard too reach expensive parts.

I can tell this is gonna be fun. The only mazdas I've worked on up to this point is RX7s.

As a heads up my goal with the miata is also 300whp. I'll document the build and post it. There is going to be some decent engine build pics like I did with the MR2.
