New guy from Windsor, ON looking for boost

Hey everyone, just thought I'd make a quick intro thread.

I currently have 2 miatas, an NA which I bought in California a couple years ago and drove back home across the country, and my NB daily driver.

I just picked up a 1.8 engine last weekend which I am doing basic maintenance on right now including a new clutch. I will be using the FM swap kit and hopefully will have the engine in within the next couple weeks. After that I will be installing my ECU followed by the turbo.

Current plans are
GT2860RS w/ 8psi actuator
FM manifold & DP (looking to see if something pops up used in the next few weeks)
Custom exhaust
rx7 550cc injectors
FM1 or 949Racing Ceramic 4 puck Clutch (need to search more about either one to see what people prefer)
eBay FMIC

For my ECU I was originally looking to get a Rev built MS2 but saw a used AEM EMS pop up in the classifieds that I'm really tempted to get. So I still need to decide on that. Currently leaning towards the AEM since he is somewhat local. Any opinions on either of these?

Here are a couple pics of the car

Will be looking for a more practical wheel and tire setup for this year too, as well as raising it to an enjoyable height.

This sentence probably saved you so much hazing. Most important part of the entire post.

Solid starting parts list. Good luck.

Smart move on going for the 1.8 swap. You will not regret it.

Thanks guys. I figured that it was important to put that part in there. I had it at that height for almost a month before putting it in storage last year and it was the least enjoyable time driving my Miata lol. I would end up taking out my NB instead of it just because of that. It is currently on Megan EZ streets but I'm thinking of taking those out and putting in something better since I would like to start tracking the car this year (hopefully), but that might have to wait until next season with the entire turbo build going on right now. I'd rather just take my time and do the turbo build properly this spring and enjoy the car a bit before summer when I have to go away for work.
