Hey there! Sounds like the best of both worlds! Crate engine ls3 build in the works over here, looking forward to more pics and details of your swap.

Well this was a tease, I was really excited for under hood pics, and pics of said turbo :(

Is this the car from the 1728 video?

The only video of this car at this point should be what I post, not sure what the 1728 video is, will look into that. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1460548503
The car was damn near perfect before the turbo but it was not one of those "I want to kill" you cars
Welcome to the site. Can't wait to see what this thing can do, in for more vids. |
i think they meant 1320 video, it was a turbo LS powered NA making close to 700hp, remote mounted turbo, sideways at around 100mph, scary as hell lol

Not the 1320 car. Will probably "only" be around 550whp tuned conservatively since it's still on a stock block. Currently on 275/50-15 nt555r's and when they are warm she just squats and goes.

Yea, it's a rear mounted turbo, bracketed to the rear diff carrier to help offset some of the weight addition to the front not to mention over the rear wheels is probably the best place to add weight to this car. Not to mention the factory muffler space provided perfect concealment of the set uphttps://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1460896651Yes, the tx mini vet was first but the plate is just too good to pass up

I have been looking at 17s just for better tire selection, really not interested in making a drag only miata plus would like to get some larger brakes under it, things happen pretty fast even on a conservative road tune. I have a friend doing an aluminum 5.3 in an e36 but he just wants it Na for now, knowing him that will change pretty quickly. |
