If you post anything for sale you will be banned. Read the rules.

What kind of swap do you want to do?

unknown007 03-07-2010 10:59 PM

I read them it won't even let me post unless I have a 10 post count.Unless you mean I can't post period?

I was thinking of a SR20DET or possibly a RB if it fits.If none of that comes together then turbo the original motor.

I would vote doing a turbo kit and mildly built motor using a miata BP. I am almost done with a 2jz swap and it will be cool when it is done but I could have mad the same hp with my bp and a turbo but I am not mad that I did it but for someone new to the miata world I would deff select the turbo miata engine.

Hmmmm...good info there but for someone who would love a challenge I don't know. You got pics of the 2JZ swap?

There is a whole thread on the build here is the link. It is not a terrible swap so far. As long as you have some fabrication skills, access to a welder, and time to do it, it will be worth it in the end. Check this link out when you get a chance.

Ive seen the sr20 swap before, it fits easily, it seems like its actually smaller that the BP.

They look almost the same if you take a closer look.

Dude, go to begi site, they are putting a nissawn motor in a miata. Totally awesome!

unknown007 03-09-2010 01:04 AM

gonna check that out.

Be different and put a BP in your 240sx. Build it up, turbo to just over 300whp. Most SR20's aren't running that much power, and people will be so confused when you open the hood.

I hope to hell they aren't...as in I hope they're done for the sake of the owner.

Thing was halfway done when I picked up my kit LAST JANUARY.
