Default Anybody got noob sauce?

Hello everyone, figured I would introduce myself and get some feedback on the car. First off here is the wheelwell page from the previous owner with most of the mods done to the car
https://wheelwell.com/josh-rizzo/nd3/2002-mazda-mx-5-miata
So I bought the car with all these mods already installed except the hardtop. That's ok this is my first Miata and convertible so I'm enjoying the soft top. My plans so far are to up the boost to 12 psi or about 220whp and keep it there until I can build a forged short block. Gonna get the ecu retuned by begi and some 550cc injectors also. I think I got a pretty good price on the car considering the mods. Especially the fm2 kit and the volk wheels. Anyways let me know what you think and any suggestions you have. Also it has a wrap on it so that's why the paint looks weird.

I would not let Begi near my car for tuning with a 1000000000 foot pole.

I don't have much choice. I need to stay obd2 compliant for inspection and the car has already had their tune on it for about 4 years with no issues.

I wouldn't let Begi tune any car I've ever owned

The real question is would you let them tune someone's car who you don't like...

If the car is really acceptable to the authorities as-is with the reprogrammed EC:

Then an approach would be:
1) Plug and play Megasquirt
2) Larger injectors
3) A proper AIT after the intercooler (make an extension to run the stock wiring to it)
4) MAF delete swapped for a simple intake
5) MBC or EBC as desired (EDIT: I don't know if MS can control the factory controller or not Was thinking MSM at that moment)

Would make for a very easy swap-out at inspection time. Don't have to even wire open the wastegate.

Then it can be correctly tuned for the higher power.

EDIT: Where are you located?

You're other post claims 220 WHP already? Did you fudge that a bit?

I'm 50 miles south of Houston. 220 is my goal for now. I got it on a Dyno and it's making 186whp/167wtq
