Atlanta calling Hustler - are you there???
This is Bob near Atlanta - coming to Miatas after roughly 150 other cars - from my 1933 Ford Coupe where I started learning about hot rodding, to stock datsun z cars, MGBs, 1st & 2nd gen RX7s, a few V8 & V6 RX7s & MGBs, and even a bimmer and a 944 turbo P car.
A bean counter type by day, I love cars, boats, bikes - about anything with a motor and a go pedal. I am great at taking cars apart, due in part to several years of part time work in an automotive junk yard during high school and college - but I am much slower when it comes to fabbing new stuff.
My son and daughter like to drive fast - officially only at the five or six track days we spent at Little Taledega Grand Prix Raceway in Alabama.
Being past 50 I no longer want to drive above 100mph or so, but I don't like taking long to get to my desired speed - hence I have read threads on this board for hours over the last few years - focusing on suspending my car and muscling it up while trying to balance the big 3 - speed, reliability and cost.
BTW, my mother-in-law had a pet chicken when she was a child - unfortunately it met the fate of a typical mid-western farm animal - watch out Hustler! - should we start a poll predicting how he talks when he is with his family? Lol. Fear of his word-smithing will keep me firmly acquainted with the search button!
Thanks guys for a great accumulation of knowledge, theory and experience!

Uh oh ... No offense meant to Hustler - maybe I need to check my sense of humor.
I think Hustler (and his avatar) add a wonderful dimension to the board and I took his comments as excellent reminders to noobs that lots of effort has gone into helping others on this board and others should make an effort to find the info instead of asking covering the same ground over & over.
I have realized that noobs - like me - tend to ask these questions innocently - but that it can get old answering them repeatedly.
I meant nothing other than a humorous hello by my comments.
