1991 Miata owner noob
Hi, I'm new to the list, and have been recommended by several to come here. I have a '91 that's mostly stock, but some tweaks (KYB shocks, FM sways, HD duece roll bar). I have to say, even in stock form, I love this car! I plan on upgrading it little by little, probably with a mild turbo at some point.
For the past 17 years I drove a '68 Mustang daily on my 50 mile commute to/from work. While a lot of fun, being a car built with 42 year old technology, it left a lot to be desired in several areas. I modified the suspension on that car substantially over the course of many years, and thought it handled really well until I drove the Miata! I still own that car and actually have a 6.2L stroker nearly ready for it, but that's not why I'm here.
I have a pretty good amount of experience in most aspects of car performance modifications, but very little knowledge about turbos. I tend to approach things from a technical viewpoint, and I'm here to learn.
I also like metal working of every type (machining, welding, bending, and all sorts of fabrication), woodworking, and anything involving fire or really large sparks (but don't we all!).
Thanks in advance for letting me be here and learn from all of your experiences!
