Hey guys, I just picked up a nice 2005 Miata, wanted to introduce myself. I have been very involved in the forum scene in the past with my turbo Integra, which got upgraded to a few s2000s....then life happened had to sell all the toys. Now I am slowly trying to get into some track time, figured the Miata might be a cheaper way to slowly do that and then still be able to have the option of going full track...

First impressions, the stereo is much better than the stock AP1/AP2 options, but the car is very under-powered in its stock form, I am probably going to get a compression tester to make sure the cylinders are holding proper compression...and then the turbo fun will begin toward the end of the summer season.

Just finished getting all the Hardtop goodies....now looking for a roll bar and then hoping to get some seat time....who else is in the Long Island/NYC area...would love to visit some meets, ride in some turbo miatas and maybe get a feel for some racing seats to help decide on which direction to go towards...
