new owner, old miata!

Hallo hallo,

Time to stop creeping on every miata forum I can find and start participating! Proud new owner of an old 1990 red Miata, located in Victoria, BC (Canada!).

I'm a current (and non-active for a while now) member of NASIOC, used to be huge into Subaru and have spent most of my teens and early 20's being a big Subaru fan, although now that I've had the Miata for 2 weeks I'm kicking myself for not having jumped ship earlier.

I've been doing as much research as I can, although no doubt I'll have my fair share of noob questions in the near future - the car is a piece of work, a bit of a far cry from what it was the day it rolled off the showroom floor.

Looking forward to meeting any other miata enthusiasts around Vanc Island and the mainland!

welcome.
Subaru's are great and nothing wrong with them. Ideally you wanna have a scoob for year round driving and miata for track days/auto-x/and weekend fun.

you make a fair point, I guess I didn't actually jump ship per se, as I still have my scooby for snow and icy weather. :D

I'm not sure if this is worse than admitting you're an active member on SupraForums, but welcome.
