New from Pleasanton CA
Just checking in and saying hi! My name is Richard and I’m 28 and I just bought a 1991 base model Miata with only 40k miles all stock i also just moved to Northern California and live in Pleasanton. I work for company that helps dealers upkeep their lease vehicles. my plans for my Miata are hopefully a 200hp reliable weekend cruiser with a clean custom look. My daily driver is a 2017 Tacoma Trd sport and I also have a 2017 SS2 camaro that I’m trying to keep stock hence buying the Miata to mod! im wondering how big is the NorCal community and how often do they meet up/ get together? still doing research on how to achieve my hp goals. I know the basics but haven’t decided on a full plan. As far as looks I’m going for a minimalistic / clean feel with shaved reflectors, smooth rear finish panel, shave mirrors and even shaved front blinkers. I will add pics tomorrow |
Welcome to the Bay and to the forum!
In the Bay we are spread out far and wide but still represent the Bay.. You will find that there is the east bay (you and I, tri-valley, contra costa county, etc), north bay (marin county, napa county etc), south bay (san jose etc), and the Bay... Oakland, berkeley, sf. Lots of events going on all over if you search on facebook and join the Miata groups. I've been hosting a weekly meet near Concord which has had some awesome turnouts! Hope to meet you soon. |
