Thumbs up fresh meat

whats up?
this is my first post, first stick, second mazda, third car. I'm looking forward to learning a lot here for my white miata with tan top/int and 148k. So far I have put on tint but I'm going to throw in new plugs, wires, diy intake and possibly a exhintake mod with a hope to go turbo.
I'm outta Indy and tryin to meet some other tuners here.

Well, tuning is up the style of fuel management you decide on.

But as far as everything else. It is according to your budget you want to spend, and how experianced you are with working on cars.

I have a Flyin Miata III manifold and downpipe for your car. $395
So you need a turbo( $80.00 junkyard), wastegate ($90 ebay), bov($15 ebay), ebay intercooler kit $120, and go to the local hose company and make a oil supply line$50.00, and a oil return $10.

Then management for fuel and timming. I like the simple Fuel pressure riser and a MSD box, or bipes.

I also have a MSD box I would sell as well 75. Then you just need The FPR $50- $100 used namebrand.

Or you can buy the same kit for $3-4K.

Some will say standalone, but that goes back to budget, and level of work and tuning you want to put into the car. As well as how much HP you want.

If you want 170-190's. I'd do bandaids.

If you want 220HP+. Go electronic.

Being a salesman myself, I respect the fact you're putting your product out there. But right now, I'm bogged down with work and don't even have an idea of which turbo to go with and where to find it on the cheap.

Thats cool. I'm not really worried about selling it.

But it is nice to be able to get a ideal of a kit vs DIY.

But FWIW, I would get a dp, mani combo, or just buy a good kit.

The first time around, if you try to piece or build everything, you will wind up spending more than just getting a kit. Ask me how I know. LOL

If I sell my two cars. The next kit for me will be a cast ebay mani and a T3. And a prebuilt upper downpipe if available. Spool will suck, but it should scream. But the cast ebay mani's are only built for the 1.6L from what I found.

But if you have a little more cash than time. Check out Begi. All the homework is done. And the combination is there and all the parts. Instructions, and you just bolt it up. AND IT IS ALL NEW!

Good Luck!
